Installing WordPress

Before beginning the installation and configuring of your new theme, you must first have WordPress already installed on a server. Here is a very detailed guide at Wordpress Codex that will walk you through every step.

Installing Theme

Uploading Through WordPress

To upload through your Dashboard, select “Appearance” and then “Themes”. Next, select the “Add New” button at the top of the page and then select the “Upload Theme” button. Choose kaffen theme "kaffen.zip" file and select “Install Now”. Once the theme is fully uploaded and installed, click “Activate” to activate the WordPress theme.

When uploading your theme with the installer, please ensure you are uploading the theme .zip file, not the entire package you downloaded. In this case, you will be uploading "kaffen.zip".

FTP Upload

To manually upload your new WordPress theme, login with your credentials to your website and locate the wp-content folder in your WordPress install files. Upload the un-zipped kaffen WordPress Theme folder into the: wp-content/themes folder.
Once uploaded, activate the theme by heading to the “Themes” menu in the WordPress Dashboard.

Installing Plugins Required

Once you have installed and activated our theme you will be prompted to install required and recommended plugins for all theme features. Just click the link to Begin installing plugins and activate all plugins.

Import DEMO Content

- To import demo content, please follow some steps below:
1. First, be sure that "kaffen" theme and all required plugins is activated, then go to Appearance > Import Demo Data and import demo content from the list.

Kaffen Options

All global settings can be found in ​Dashboard > Kaffen Options​. In addition, you can customize:

Styling

In "Styling" Tab you can set up: Background Colors, Theme Color, Paragraphs Color, Buttons BG Color, Buttons Font Color, Additional Buttons BG Color, Additional Buttons Font Color, Paragraphs Font Size, Buttons Font Size, Heading Font Size, Post Heading Font Size, Paragraphs Font, Primary Font, Heading Font.

Header & Footer

In "Header & Footer" Tab you can set up: Header Template, Footer Template.

Social Links

In "Social Links" Tab you can set up: Social icons and links.

404

In "404" Tab you can set up: 404 page content and image.

WooCommerce

In "WooCommerce" Tab you can set up: Sidebar, Parallax Background, Page Title.

Preloader

In "Preloader" Tab you can set up: Preloader On/Off, Preloader Image, Preloader Color, Preloader Height.

Create Pages with Elementor Builder

- To create page with Elementor builder, please do the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
2. In the tab "Page Attributes" > "Template", select "Layout builder (Elementor)" and Save Changes. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
3. In Elementor builder panel drag and drop "Kaffen Theme" elements & widgets and fill the fields.

Edit Pages with Elementor Builder

- To edit Page, please do the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Edit.
2. In the tab "Page Attributes" > "Template", select "Layout builder (Elementor)". Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
3. In Elementor builder panel drag and drop "Kaffen Theme" elements & widgets and fill the fields.

Gallery

- To create Gallery Items, please do the following:
1. Go to Gallery > New Image.
2. In the tab "Featured Image", select image from Library or Upload new. Enter Title, Categories and click Update button.

- To create Gallery Page
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
2. In Elementor builder panel, drag and drop widget "Gallery" and configure settings, fields.

Restaurant

- To create Restaurant Items, please do the following:
1. Go to Restaurant > New Menu Item.
2. In the tab "Featured Image", select image from Library or Upload new. Enter Title, Categories, Price and click Update button.

- To create Restaurant Page
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
2. In Elementor builder panel, drag and drop Restaurant Menu widget and configure settings, fields.

Contact Form

- To create Contacts Form, please do the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Contact > Contact Forms > Add New.
2. Enter form name "Contact Form".
3. In the tab "Form" you can use default form layout or enter this code lines:

4. In the tab "Mail", enter this your email address.
5. Save Changes.

- To insert Contact form to page, please do the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Contact. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
2. In Elementor widget "Contact Form" in Form field, select your created CF7 form.

FAQ

- To create FAQ Items, please do the following:
1. Go to FAQ > New FAQ Item.
2. Enter Title, Categories, Description and click Update button.

- To create FAQ Page
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
2. In Elementor builder panel, drag and drop widget "FAQ" and configure settings, fields.

Blog

- To create Blog Pages, please do the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
2. In the tab "Page Attributes" > "Template", select "Elementor builder". In the tab "Publish" click to "Publish" button.
3. Click to "Edit with Elementor" button.
4. In Elementor builder panel drag and drop "Kaffen Theme" widget: "Blog" and more. 6. Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
7. Enter your Post Title, Description, choose category and the tab Featured Image upload & select preview image. In the tab "Publish" click to "Publish" button.

Update Our Themes

Update via Envato Market Plugin

To easy and fast update theme and plugins you can use Envato Market Plugin (I added this plugin in recommended list in the theme):
1) Install Envato Market Plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ and activate.
2) On admin panel go to Envato Market -> Settings -> Generate an Envato API Personal Token -> Click on link -> Login to your Envato Account -> Checked “Permissions ( https://gyazo.com/8a94c801e8197207d3d37467aa8587fb )” on list -> Create Token.
3) Use plugin “Envato Market -> Themes” to install all future updates. (in a few clicks).

Manually Update (Appearance -> Themes)

You can update our theme via WordPress Panel, Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes. Click "Add New" -> "Upload Theme". Choose kaffen theme "kaffen.zip" file and select “Install Now”.

Manually Update (FTP or Cpanel)

You can update our theme using via FTP or Cpanel.
Download the latest version of the theme on ThemeForest download page and you rename the folder contain the old theme and create a new folder and insert the latest theme in here.
